GentleMax pro treats by using a beam of high intensity light to penetrate into the skin tissue and administer a controlled amount of heat causing the pigmentation to break down. Once the pigmented lesion is broken down the particles the body's natural system will further break down the particles resulting in the pigmented lesion to become faint or disappear. The laser's collagen simulation also improves the skin texture resulting in a glowing skin. Additionally, the laser has a unique epidermal protection provided by its adjustable DCD which sprays the skin with a liquid coolant, cryogen, before each laser pulse to protect the skin from any damage and make the experience as comfortable as possible.

• Prepare for your treatment by wearing sunscreen every day and avoid tanning booth light, fake tan, or any chemical treatments weeks before starting

• Come to the appointment with bare skin (no makeup or any skin care products on)

• Number of treatment sessions are typically around 1-3 though the required amount varies for each patient.

• Each session can take around 15-30 minutes while it still depends on the patient's needs.

• While being treated you might feel a slight discomfort with each pulse, most often described as a pinch or an elastic band being snapped against the skin

• After each session you should avoid the sun, contact sports, swimming, make-up or skin rejuvenation products to the site for 24 hours

• If there is any redness or swelling after treatment it should be resolved in a couple of hours to 48 hours
